Malware removal
WordPress malware removal
Deleting one file isn't a cleanup. Infections usually leave files, accounts and hidden tasks in several places. I work through it calmly and write down everything I change.

Questions
About this service
Usually not. Infections leave backdoor files, accounts and scheduled tasks elsewhere, and if any survive they re-plant the code within days.
Not necessarily. Much malware is obfuscated or hidden in the database, where automated scans miss it. That's why I review manually beyond what plugins can see.
I keep downtime to a minimum. If a short maintenance window is needed to stop the infection spreading while I work, I tell you beforehand.
Don't delete anything before taking a copy. Some flagged files are core files with injected code, so deleting them breaks the site, and the host's list rarely covers everything planted.
A written summary of what I found and where, what I removed or replaced, the likely way in, and prioritised recommendations to keep the site clean.
